Cervical Trigger Point Injections

So trigger point injections are also meant to treat a disease process or pathology of Myofascial pain syndrome, also known as trigger points. Again, you may have tightness in the muscle that has been persistent for several days to weeks, it is not relinquishing itself. So, what we will do in that case, is place a needle into this tight area that the patient identifies, a very circumscribed area, and inject local anesthetic anti-inflammatory steroids in order to alleviate this pain process.
